Simple Anniversary Card & Last Day for Sale!

On November 17, my husband and I celebrated 34 years of marriage. He is the love of my life and very understanding about my Stampin' Up! obsession and my "need" for chocolate. All products Stampin' Up!

Hard to get him to sit still for a photo, but I took this one last year while visiting this cool distillery called Copper Run located near Branson, MO.

This card is very simple and mostly self-explanatory. I wanted a small amount of bling on this card, so I took a scrap piece of Mossy Meadow cardstock, tapped Versamark ink on it (directly from the inkpad) and heat embossed the strip with Iridescent Ice Stampin' Emboss Powder. I really think that little strip coupled with the Gold Metallic Thread added just the right amount of sparkle for a masculine card. Project Supply List:

Built for Free Using: My Stampin Blog

Big sale ends today and includes a 24 hour flash sale. (think doorsbuster prices!) Save up to 50% off on select products during the Stampin' Up! on-line extravaganza. See the list of sale items here

I hope you enjoyed the project. Let me know if you have any questions whatsoever or if you just need assistance completing your online order. Please use the hostess code shown in the top right corner when ordering online, unless your order will total $150 before shipping & tax. At that point, you become your own hostess and get all the rewards! Please don't choose "no contact" from the demonstrator.  I just want to be able to send a thank you note and if "no contact" is chosen, I'm unable to even see your name.

Artfully Yours,
Kim

  1. Love this, Kim! The embossing on the strip of Mossy Meadow is such a cool effect and I love how you added a little sparkle but still made it look manly. And it sounds like this sentiment is perfect for him.
